Arnaud was 22 when he joined FARMEX TECHNOLOGIES in 2007. With a degree in Water management he got at Cranfield University - UK, he was given the title of Junior Project Manager.
Arnaud started with working at FARMEX's offices in Mèze for a year during which he was given the responsability of supervising several projects abroad. Then he was sent to Grenada for 6 months for his first mission on field - building of an irrigation device.
He then volunteered for another mission in the Samoa islands that saw him stay there for 2 years before going back to our offices in Mèze. That mission was about building 5 drinking water treatment stations.
"As a young graduate I was not offered that many job opportunities for a year since companies would rather hire experienced engineers. FARMEX gave me my chance like they did to several other young graduates since I joined back in 2007. This is a sign that FARMEX trust people. The working atmosphere here is rather dynamic, and overall pretty pleasant.
The company have also hired people on short term contracts for specific missions - mostly abroad. My next mission will take me to the Republic of Dominica before the end of the year. Regarding my progression prospects at FARMEX, I'm not worried. It's not a matter of becoming Senior as soon as possible or having whatever title or something. I feel they trust me. That's very important to me."
